Hunting ground in Parrina is a nature hunting reserve. It extends for 585 ha. The landscape is predominantly hilly with maximum altitude of 354 m above sea level, which has been stable over time, and consists of a largely agricultural area and a wooded area, that ensure, together, a safe oasi for the fauna of the place, as well as migration fauna. The territory includes a series of ecosystems, where natural environments and environments shaped by man coexist: they are all equally important for the essential role they play in the life of the wild fauna.
The wild fauna includes: hedgehog, wild cat, marten and Faina weasel, , porcupine, badger, squirrel, tortoise, hare, wild boar, roe deer and the fox. Among the species of migratory fauna we have pheasant, the quail, the hoopoe, the jay, the green woodpecker, the jackdaw, the cuckoo, transfer, the magpie and crow thief gray, many passerines such as the goldfinch, the chaffinch, the robin, , the Capinera, , the oriole and the green, then woodpigeons, the dove.
The most frequent daytime raptors are the real Allred and child, pecchiaiolo falcon, the brown kite, the Biancone, the buzzard, a kestrel and the lodolaio, between nocturnal birds of prey, the owl, the assiolo, the barbagianni. In the larger water lakes appears species such as the real German, the Teal, the water gallinella, the heron cenerino .
