Nursery

Parrina's gardenhouse started in 1983. We watched our woods and thought that to make beautiful gardens, that can resist the long summer drought and the frequent, although unexpected, severe winter frosts typical of Maremma, there was no better than those plants that grow spontaneously around us and that have adapted to our climate over thousands of years. Along with these plants we added plants from other regions which have a Mediterranean climate, so we put together a collection of plants from South Africa, Australia and California, and a smaller collection of plants from all over the world . At the beginning we only produced plants for other nurseries, than,15 years ago, following our customers and our friends' suggestions , we decided to open a nursery in order to sell directly our plants and follow more closely the work in our customers' gardens . Since then the nursery has grown and today it extendes for no less than 7 hectares, where are admirable flowering shrubs, climbing plants, citrus fruits, plants for dry gardens, shade plants, roses and ornamental trees and oleanders.
