Honey, a completely natural product that cames from the nectar of flowers and dependant upon the activity of bees, forms strong link between man and his environment and between production and tradition.
It cames from many types of nectar: its colour is an almost golden yellow: it is crystallised easily due to the high glucose-fructose ratio; it has a marked, decisive flavour that encompasse the taste and aromas of its innumerable components. It is availeable in 1 Kg or 0.5 Kg jars.
The Eucalyptus honey is produced is July and is oftenrecomanded for chest infections. Its colour can vary and it has addightly bitter taste. It is availeable in 220 gr jars.
The Rosemary honey is produced between March and September. It has a pale white golden colour and a most attractive aroma that evokes the scents of the Mediterranean scrub surrounding the estate. It crystallises rapidly. Its availeable in 220 gr jars
The hawthorn honey, produced exclusively in the Maremma area, comes from a wild bush, Paluirus spina Christi, that flowers in May-June is so thorny that it manages to keep wild boars at bay. The honey is refined with a yellow-orange colour, an intense individual aroma and a decisive fruitness. It does not crystallise easily. It is availeable in 220 gr jars.
